Such a beautiful episode! All the callbacks, man!
It’s not often that MLP gets to me.
Yes, there have been a few “awwww, that’s sad” moments, the chief of which was Tanks for the Memories. There have been times where I can relate to the issues at hand as I have gone through them myself, such as Testing Testing 123. There have even been episodes that really spoke to me legit, such as Filli Vanilli, which was an episode that sorta helped me break out of a bit of a funk I had been in.
But this episode. This episode, man…
Thought I'd re-review the ep using my Yugioh system... (I used the 10 stars system before)
LP: 8000
No the worse thing about Twilight being Princess of Friendship/Equestia... is she even being ALIVE. Bitch like her shouldn't be living!

Today's episode. Amending Fences.
First I would like to say that I absolutely adored today's episode. I mean, besides the Starlight Glimmer cameo at dinner and the unfortunate implications of that (likely for the season finale), everything was just so solid. Moondancer especially was one heck of a foil to Twilight. The supporting characters were great too.
Sorry I'm so late, like I explained though, didn't record and I just now was able to see it.
Anyway, it starts out with Twilight reading a book, exhausted from three events so close together, Spike had been doing dishes and long story short he brings up about Twilight having become so amazing with friendship despite her in the start not being a friend, so to Canterlot!
We see her old residence dusty as hell, nothing to special, just some references.
Well, we've got 250+ views in the first 12 hours, a 95% upvote ratio, and most importantly, comment after comment of readers saying they're looking forward to more.
Believe me, I hear you loud and clear, and am working to deliver.
This story, in the 60 hours the episode has been out, has gone through several transformations.
First it was going to be a Mature clopfic oneshot.
Alrighty, then. Gonna bust this one out real quick. Video games are calling me. Here are my thoughts on this week's episode, Amending Fences.
Spoilers. You've been warned.
Good ep. I was worried it wouldl turn out to be trite and cliché, but it was actually pretty heartwarming and fun, with some cute charachterisation for the friends Twilight left behind. We got more clues about the layout of Canterlot, the position of Twilight's old tower relative to the city and so on. And we got to see Moondancer!
Well, I can confidently say that was one of the best episodes of the season thus far. Especially the last five minutes. Fantastic!
Anyone else catch a whiff of that MoonSparkle shipping fuel? And that VERY clever Starlight Glimmer cameo?
Oh yeah, and Happy Treason Day to all you ungrateful colonials.
But she wasn't. Because she was too busy fucking Bon Bon to do it.
Twilight: (walks past Moondancer in the library) Moondancer! Oh my—
(Moondancer turns to her)
Twilight: (freezes in place) Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry, it's j-just...
Moondancer: What?
Twilight: Are those eyebrows or are you fostering wooly caterpillar mating rituals on your forehead?
(Moondancer glowers at her)
Twilight: Because, you know, your eyebrows are fucking ridiculous. I can't believe I forgot about them, holy shit.
(Twilight skips away, laughing to herself)
Hello again, Summer here, bugging you once again! Information just keeps pouring out today!!! Let's see what episode 12 is about!
Are you a Wondercolt? or a Shadowbolt?
In other news, Amending Fences apparently airs tomorrow! I won't be able to post the episode tomorrow morning, because I'll be out for the 4th. But it will be at some point
Any of you remember my favorite "deepest" scene from the show? Where in 'Luna Eclipsed' Luna offers a piece of candy to the NMM statue?
Well, I think that's finally been dethroned. It has been quite some time since I've watched an episode three times within 48 hours of its airtime.
Spoiler alert: This post mentions a certain pony from today's episode, as well as some talk about my What Didn't Happen series.
Amending Fences was one of my absolute favorite episodes from the entire series so far, and the inspiration bug bit me hard yesterday when I watched it. Therefore, I have created a rather short one-shot for an idea that managed to get me just as excited for writing as I have ever been. Be on the lookout for that when it gets approved in a little while, and I thank you for your support in advance!
Confession time: I put off watching this episode a while because to me it sounded boring. And in my personal opinion, it kind of was.
